Lets be clear this is not a driving sim type driving game. The cars aren't particularly accurate, don't handle realistically etc but that's not what it set out to be.
It's great fun, has a steady learning curve and is addictive with the added bonus of online racing.
Don't be fooled by Split Second Velocity's theatrics, trust me it gets extremely boring very quickly. Online if you slip behind there's nothing to activate the scene changes on.
All in all probably the best driving racer I've played since Motor Storm 1.

Im not a fan of these types of game with the power ups an such but after playing the split second demo i thought id give the blur one a shot and after 5mins of online i was converted. Blur is an action packed stylish racer, the car handling isnt realistic at all but keep in mind this is a game where u can shoot neon 'shunts' and 'bolts' at other cars but the fun factor is right at the top and it has a tactical element to it aswell with defensive and offensive power ups and to keep 1st place you really need to think ahead. Over all this is a fantastic racing game but its not your typical racer either like grid, definatly recommend at least getting the online demo to see what its about and you may even be converted like me.

this game is wicked off line and then on line its crazy how iykuylkuib can say its boring its crazy, its fun, its fast, it winds u up something rotten but still a wicked game, all games need one click to shut all them idiots who use the wireless headsets but that goes for all games, but the game is well worth it, play alone, on line or with your mates i think its quality
